Who are we?

Welcome to The British International School of New York, affectionately known as BIS-NY. At just 300 pupils aged 2.9 to 18 years old, we’re small by design, and provide the English National Curriculum & a global perspective in the heart of Manhattan.

How can we help?

If you’re coming from the UK or a British school, you’ll find that BIS-NY is a home from home and will enable your children to smoothly transition from their current school to ours. For International families, the IB framework we follow, and our truly international community will provide continuity and quality as you move from your current school, to BIS-NY and to your next destination.

As a truly international school and the only one to deliver the internationally recognised IGCSE and A Level qualifications, we offer an extremely flexible admissions process and work with families on an individual basis to make applications simple at all times of the year.
